Twoson "Boy Meets Girl" cover (EarthBound) with lyrics & Paula's theme

Описание: Finally! More music! If you had given up on me because of all my game stream archives, I hope you will forgive me. I've been wanting to do more EarthBound music for ages. Specifically, I wanted to write some original lyrics. I have a bunch of flute-focused covers planned, but some people said they were hoping for more vocals, so ... here you are! Original lyrics for "Boy Meets Girl," the Twoson town theme.

If you've watched my Twitch playthrough of EarthBound, then you know how much I LOVE PAULA. She's my favorite character. Even if you don't watch my streams, you might have seen this costume around. That's because I adore Paula and I really wanted to dress up as her. So Twoson is a very special place to me because it's where you meet Paula. And I think "Boy Meets Girl" is a very good name for the song. I took that as inspiration for the lyrics. Rather than telling exactly what happens in the game, I thought I'd write more about the emotions. I imagine it was a bit lonely for Ness when he first left Onett. But in the end, because Paula believed in him and supported him, he and his friends were able to make it through.

Plus, I mean, canonically they're in love and they are SO ADORABLE. Yes, it's puppy love, but I think that it is true love, too. I think they'll keep in touch and carry on their relationship when they grow up. At least, I hope so! I love them so much ♥

Next up? I'm making a Smiles and Tears cover using Itoi's original lyrics as a base, and I maaaay have a flute cover themed for the holidays coming up. And also some things that aren't EarthBound related. But also a lot of EarthBound. I have a lot of love for this game.
