Day One:
On a warm 33°C Vegas day, we wander through the Flamingo Hotel casino gaming floor before escaping the heat at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops for some retail therapy — and a little unexpected drama when a shoplifter tries to outrun security! After a light lunch at Ketchup Bar, we continue exploring before stumbling through a sketchy construction zone en route to one of our favourites shopping destinations — Ross Dress for Less.

We pass by the ruins of the Tropicana, cool off inside New York-New York, and enjoy a mid-afternoon Margarita at P.F. Chang’s before heading to the highlight of our trip — the All-You-Can-Eat Lobster Buffet at the Palms Casino Resort.

Ten lobsters (yes, ten!) plus crab claws and other mouth-watering dishes later, we can safely say this buffet definitely lives up to the hype!

A must visit place, make sure to pre-book for your next Las Vegas vacation.

Day Two:
After a great night’s sleep, we take a 40 minute drive out to Red Rock Canyon with a stop at Calico Basin, capturing some breathtaking desert landscapes and scenic views.

We wrap up our adventure with a quick but delicious dinner at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen before calling it an early night — completely exhausted but happy with our memories, after another incredible Vegas getaway.
