From the old part of town with the little Icelandic shops, amazing pastries in Sandholt Bakery, to the modern part with the Harpa concert hall overlooking the ocean and the volcanic landscape - we saw a looooot! And all of it on foot! This city really isn't so big, so you can see a lot in 1 day. If you don't have a lot of time, it is also a great base for day trips around the golden circle.
