Other notes:
I was down in the region and the wonderful fire chief over at Pleasant City VFD offered to set their old siren off for me. I didn't know what I was going to be filming until I showed up, but I definitely wasn't expecting an old Type B like this. I was informed that this siren came from a nearby mine (likely the same mine where Senecaville got theirs) and put it at the fire station in the 50s. I'm guessing this was probably a 30s model Type B however I'm not 100% sure on that. Anyways, I was treated to roughly 2 minutes of attack on the quiet Type B, however it probably covers the small village. This siren really isn't used anymore as the fire station uses pagers, however he said if they feel it's necessary, they'll sound it. I'd assume they would sound it in a weather emergency too. Big thanks to PCVFD for setting this off! Glad I could get a video of this as obviously it's not used much and is probably on it's last leg as it's in some rough shape.
