Follow our journey from the Dingo Caravan Park to Blackdown Tableland National Park.

We began the day in the town of Dingo at the caravan park. We had out overnight oats for breakfast and then packed up all out camping gear.

Today was the day we headed into Blackdown Tableland National park which is were the real adventure begins. We follow a main road out through the tablelands and up into the sandstone mountains.

The whole area is made of sandstone and has some amazing colours in the rocks. There are lots of things to do and see in the national park. We started by checking out the rock pools by the campsite. Then we heading down to the Rainbow Falls and completed the 2km hike down to the waterfalls. We were blown away by this spot, it was incredible!

We then completed the 4wd loop track and checked out the Charlevue lookout which gave some impressive views over the valley and surrounding hills.

Commencing on the loop track we came to some challenging down hill sections which required low range to navigate. Then we popped back onto the main trail and headed into camp at Munal Campground.

We took the short cultural circuit which gives some interesting information about the aboriginal history in the area. With some incredible Aboriginal rock art kept under a large sandstone ledge.

Setting up camp and getting some dinner and the fire going we were set and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing to the bush tv :)
