Last winter, I set out to create a gown on the chance that it might snow here in Arkansas, just enough to photograph a truly wintry scene in a purpose-made costume. It was a bit of a gamble. Snow is rare here, and it had already fallen once that season, but I forged anyway and let the project unfold as it would.
This winter costume vlog is part one of the process, focusing on the creation of the corset bodice. I share behind-the-scenes moments from my studio, documenting the early stages of costume making as the garment begins to take shape.
