At ISE 2025, Felix from Panasonic introduced the company’s first LED display system, marking a significant expansion beyond their well-established projector and display technologies. Panasonic’s new LED lineup starts with a 110-inch model, followed by 137-inch and 165-inch versions set for release later in the year. Unlike traditional modular LED solutions, Panasonic offers these displays as pre-configured units, making installation and operation as seamless as a standard display.
Each LED system includes an LED controller and a dedicated power box, ensuring stable electrical performance without peak voltage surges. The PowerBox manages power distribution efficiently, maintaining a maximum consumption of 1700 watts, eliminating unexpected power spikes. This system enhances reliability and safety in large-scale installations.
The LED walls use modified Novastar control systems that integrate seamlessly with Panasonic’s ecosystem. The setup consists of four pre-calibrated columns, each with modular components for simplified installation and maintenance. The included remote control operates with Panasonic’s standard menu interface, eliminating the need for additional software configuration.
Panasonic’s LED displays are designed for flexible use, supporting video wall configurations such as a 32:9 aspect ratio by linking multiple units. The built-in controller features HDMI inputs, HDMI outputs, and two slot inputs compatible with the company’s projector and display ecosystem. These slots accommodate a range of input cards, supporting applications from PowerPoint presentations and AutoCAD to AV-over-IP solutions. Supported AV-over-IP formats include NDI, IPMX, SMPTE 2110, SDVoE, and Aurora VPX, providing extensive connectivity options.
Installation is simplified with an included wall mount, while a tripod stand is available for the 110-inch model. The system also incorporates Panasonic’s experience in power management, optimizing LED brightness and power consumption to reduce heat output. Users can enable dynamic contrast adjustments to maintain efficiency without compromising display performance.
