Join Peter and I as we set off on a two-day kayaking journey down the Goulburn River, paddling from Seymour to Nagambie. With new boats, cold winter nights, campfire meals, and plenty of laughs along the way, this trip was as much about friendship and reflection as it was about covering the 53km distance.
From the golden glow of wattle trees and the splash of paddles on the water, to campfire stories and morning coffees by the riverbank, the journey was filled with moments that remind you why the outdoors is so life-giving. There were challenges too — late starts, stiff joints, and long stretches with no current to help us — but that’s all part of the adventure.
Along the way, I also share some reflections on faith, life, and the importance of “finding the flow” both on the river and in the journey of life itself.
Whether you’re a kayaking enthusiast, a lover of the great outdoors, or simply someone who enjoys good company and a meaningful adventure, I think you’ll enjoy this trip.
🌊 Sit back, relax, and paddle with us on the Goulburn!
