Killer 'Django's Castle' Chords
Django's beautiful composition 'Manoir Des Mes Reves' otherwise known as 'Django's Castle' is a really cool tune to play on guitar.
Right from the first chord with the melody on top it reeks of Django Reinhardt & gypsy jazz.
In this lesson I want to teach you some cool extra chords that you can ad to the bits when it's hanging on D major.
I learnt these chords from Stochelo Rosenberg and they ad some nice movement & make the progression much more interesting.
You only have to learn 2 chords which are basically C#m7 and Bm7.
So instead of playing D major for 2 bars you play:
D maj C#m7 - Bm7 etc...
The trick with this is to accentuate the bass note of each chord to give it that nice descending movement.
