This video is a training resource for Community Councils based on the Community Council Handbook written by Logan Inglis.
The presentation focuses on the roles and responsibilities of Community Councils, helping members better understand how they can effectively represent their communities and operate within the guidance provided for Community Councils in the Scottish Borders.
This training resource was created by Logan Inglis and James Anderson on behalf of the Berwickshire Community Council Forum (BCCF) and is provided free of charge as an educational resource for Community Councils across the Scottish Borders.
The aim is to support Community Councillors, both new and experienced in developing a clear understanding of their role, improving governance, and strengthening community representation.
This resource is available for any Community Council in the Scottish Borders to use, share, and reference for training purposes.
