Kia ora, Here is a video which I thinks describes the general vibe of Newtown Rocksteady really well.. Firstly its a collection of photos from WOMAD 2013, The Whanau aspect of Newtown rocksteady is what makes this band different! At WOMAD we had a crew of over 60 peeps and 3 generations camping and living communaly and having a heap of fun! Vanessa Rushton, Pauline Autet and Kelly Spencer have captured this vibe beautifully with their cameras.. secondly the first single from the new EP 'Goin Steady' called In The Red is the continuation of original music from this band.. penned by Andy Hoy and Chris Winwood and featuring Newtown Rocksteady's signature 5 peice horn section.. Epic times ahead!!
