Trumpeter M1127 RV (Recon) Stryker Project | Part 1: The Build

Описание: In this video, I kick off Part 1 of my Trumpeter M1127 RV (Recon) Stryker project, diving straight into the build process of this iconic US Army reconnaissance vehicle plastic model kit in 1/35 scale. This episode focuses on assembly, kit details, fitment, and early build decisions as this Stryker starts to take shape on the bench.

The M1127 Reconnaissance Vehicle plays a critical role in Stryker Brigade Combat Teams, and I’m aiming to capture the look and feel of this platform as accurately as possible based on my experience as a MK-19 Grenade Launcher Gunner as well as an M240B Machine Gunner assigned to one of these vehicles in Iraq. This is not a step-by-step tutorial, but a relaxed, honest build showing progress, problem-solving, and real modeling decisions along the way.

I will also be modifying this Trumpeter kit to hold a Mk-19 Grenade Launcher instead of the M2 50 Cal Machine Gun that comes with it. I'll show you how I made it work in this video!

Whether you’re into modern armor, US Army vehicles, or Stryker builds, this series will cover it all as the project evolves from bare plastic to a finished display piece.
