📍 Tenryu-ji Temple & Garden, Kyoto | Japan Vlog Day-04 Pt-03

After completing our Sagano Romantic Train ride 🚆, we finally did what we couldn’t earlier in the day. We withdrew cash so we could properly explore Tenryu-ji Temple and its famous garden 🌿. In the previous vlog, we had to skip it due to lack of time and cash, so coming back felt really satisfying 🤍.
We reached the temple area around 2:00 PM and decided to slow down and truly experience the place instead of rushing 🕊️. We spent a good amount of time here, walking calmly through the temple grounds and garden, and finally left around 4:30 to 5:00 PM. Giving time to this place was totally worth it ✨.
The weather tested us a lot that day 🌧️. It had been raining continuously since we exited the Bamboo Grove earlier and the rain followed us almost the entire day. Even so, the rain added a quiet charm to the temple and garden. Everything felt extra colourful, fresh, and peaceful 🌱.
Tenryu-ji Temple and its Zen garden felt incredibly calm and beautiful 🧘‍♀️. The stillness, the sound of rain and the surrounding nature created a soothing atmosphere that made us forget the tiredness of the day 🌸. The nearby area around the temple was also very scenic and pleasant to walk through.
By the time we finally headed back to the hotel, we were completely soaked 😅. Before reaching the hotel, we stopped for a really comforting bowl of ramen 🍜, which honestly felt like the perfect end to a rainy Kyoto day. Warm food, tired feet and a peaceful heart 💛.
This day was a mix of rain, calm moments, beautiful nature and small unplanned experiences 🌧️🌿. The kind that stay with you longer than planned sightseeing.
