Abstract:
This talk is a personal account of how an outsider mathematician may want to think about some key concepts and ideas in machine learning. Professor Rubio offers a unique perspective on machine learning from the standpoint of pure mathematics, bridging the gap between abstract mathematical structures and practical machine learning algorithms.
