Today, we cooked Pumpkin Curry with Roti in "Bada's Kitchen Gamin Gamata" Episode Number 02, located in Kekirawa, Anuradhapura.
Pumpkin, a vegetable that thrives in Sri Lanka's dry zone, was our main ingredient. We harvested two large pumpkins, cut them into small pieces, and seasoned them with Sri Lankan spices to create an authentic spicy pumpkin curry. Alongside, we prepared wheat flour roti and a spicy onion sambol (lunumiris). The meal, consisting of pumpkin curry and spicy onion sambol served with roti, was enjoyed by the villagers, making for a delightful lunch. Many gathered to enjoy the meal and appreciated it greatly.
