We cooked up Roast Paan Kottu, a famous dish from Sri Lanka made with roasted flatbread. My dad got 150 pieces of this flatbread called 'Roast Paan' and a fresh 5kg chicken for the gravy.
We sliced the bread into small cubes, then mixed it with chicken gravy, veggies, and spices. We did all of this at a relative's house in a nearby village. They invited us over to make a meal for them, so about 100 villagers gathered for the feast. Some of our usual helpers pitched in too.
The villagers really liked the meal, and after they finished eating, they took some leftovers home for their families. It was a nice experience.
