Today, labor unions around the country called for a strike. Various trade unions also staged protests in Bengaluru Freedom park. Thousands took part in the strike and bitterly criticized the policies of the central government. Though the Bharat Bandh has not touched Bangalore, Majestic in Bangalore is sparsely populated. But there was no problem with BMTC bus traffic. School colleges are open as usual. However, in the wake of the bandh, a tight police bandobast has been carried out everywhere.
ಇಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಾದ್ಯಂತ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಸಾರ್ವತ್ರಿಕ ಮುಷ್ಕರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿವೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪ್ರೀಡಂಪಾರ್ಕ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದವು. ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನ ಮುಷ್ಕರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನೀತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟುವಾಗಿ ಟೀಕಿಸಿದರು. ಇನ್ನು, ಭಾರತ್ ಬಂದ್ ಬಿಸಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ತಟ್ಟದೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮೆಜೆಸ್ಟಿಕ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಸಂಚಾರ ವಿರಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಬಿಎಂಟಿಸಿ ಬಸ್ ಸಂಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಶಾಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು ಎಂದಿನಂತೆ ತೆರೆದಿವೆ. ಹೀಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಬಂದ್ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಬಿಗಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಬಂದೋಬಸ್ಥ್ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
