This video is a review of the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38. The retail price is $120.00 U.S. dollars. The Pegasus line-up is a staple of Nike. They have been around a long time and are a favorite among runners. They are a neutral road shoe that are light enough to accomplish many of your daily workouts including slow paced easy workouts and those run experiences when you want to pick-up the pace. The Pegasus 38 has seen only minor up-dates from the Pegasus 37 that focus primarily on the fit of the upper. The Pegasus 38 was designed to have more room in the toe box going back to a fit similar to that found in earlier versions of the shoe such as the. Pegasus 34 or 35. The remainder of the shoe has stayed the same. Nike's approach to the midsole and outsole for this year is, "if it ain't broke don't fix it." The Pegasus 38 features the same full length React foam from heel to toe with the same style air unit located in the forefoot. The outsole also remains the same with lots of blown rubber to protect all of the soft midsole React foam underfoot. It also maintains the same waffle style lugs that provide plenty of traction and grip to a variety of surfaces. I have run on both wet pavement and on hard packed dirt gravel and have found the outsole to give me plenty of grip and traction making me feel secure while running. These shoes live up to the nickname, "Workhorse With Wings" and will deliver plenty of comfortable miles for you.
