This is the time of year in North Florida when muscadine grapes need attention if you want a strong, healthy harvest later in the summer and fall.
In this video, I walk through our grape harbor and show how I’m pruning back our Carlos and Alachua muscadine vines, why winter pruning matters, and how this sets the stage for fruiting later in the season.
These vines have been part of our land for a while now, and I’ll be sharing more updates as the growing season progresses — including future harvests and wine projects from past seasons.
Nothing fancy here. Just real timing, real plants, and letting nature do what it does best.
