Oblande are wafer cookies with layers of delicious creamy fillings. There are many filling variations, however these ones are in my opinion the best of both worlds. One is a chocolate and nut filling while the other is the creamiest vanilla custard ever!
Try them and you'll be hooked. Put the kettle on ....

YOU NEED :
5 wafer sheets
VANILLA CUSTARD FILLING :
7 egg yolks
12 tbsps. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
juice of half of a lemon
250 gr. butter
CHOCOLATE FILLING :
7 egg whites
12 tbsps. sugar
100 - 125 gr. dark chocolate
100 gr. walnut crumbs
150 gr. biscuit crumbs
