Описание: Getting treatment for a medical condition is a good idea, if you want it. What you don't want to do is to get medical treatment you don't want (or need) just to make somebody else happy. Sure, you have to listen to the people who love you, care about you. But when somebody asks me to give them treatment just to keep someone else happy, the answer is "no." This video talks about "treatment by proxy" and briefly touches on the topic of the rare clinical diagnosis Munchausen Syndrome. I actually saw a case of this when I was in surgical training. Very sad. Very bizarre. The main point of this video is simple: Listen to those who care about you, but only ask for and accept the treatment that you believe you need.
