🛒 Ingredients
1 kg chicken (cut into cubes or small pieces)
1 onion (chopped)
1 jalapeño (finely chopped)
1 cup tomatoes (fresh diced or canned)
1 cube homemade garlic-ginger paste (frozen)
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon chili flakes
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon dried coriander
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
👩🍳 Instructions
1.
Heat the oil: Warm 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan or pot over medium heat.
2.Cook onions & jalapeño: Add the chopped onion and jalapeño. Cook for 4–5 minutes until onions are soft and lightly golden.
3. Add garlic-ginger paste: Add 1 cube of garlic-ginger paste and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add spices: Stir in chili flakes, chili powder, dried coriander, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 30 seconds.
5. Cook chicken: Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides (5–7 minutes).
6.Add tomatoes & simmer: Add diced tomatoes, mix well, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes until chicken is cooked and sauce thickens.
7. Adjust seasoning: Taste and add more salt or chili if needed.
🍚 Serve With
