This song is about King Minos returning to Crete after seeing The Oracle Of Delphi The Pythia.
King Minos sailed back to Crete urgently to Find Daedalus, a Craftsman and Inventor who was banished to Crete from Athens for the murder of his nephew.
The Oracle gave vision that Daedalus must construct a Labyrinth to contain Asterius - The Minotaur so he does not cause destruction on the Island of Crete.
Minos finds Daedalus and enslaves him aswell as his son Icarus to build the monstrous Labyrinth.
years pass and the Labyrinth is complete. But the Minotaur is now grown and has a taste for flesh, He begins feasting on people on the Island and Pasiphae and Daedalus must lead Minotaur into the Labyrinth.
They lead him in and Daedalus leads Pasiphae out, Minotaur left trapped roaring and dwelling in the Labyrinth.Walking around blind and alone.
