I was out for a dander round Groomsport Co Down when I spotted the fast moving Isle of Man Manannan Ro-Ro Ferry, under way along Belfast Lough out of Belfast docks. ( Sorry about the shaky nature of the film. It was shot at long distance but I thought it was worth while showing nevertheless.)
The Manannan is run by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. Manannan started service on the Douglas to Liverpool route on 22 May 2009. Manannan has impressed passengers with her bright, spacious accommodation offering a variety of seating areas, including two cinema lounges, a large bar area at the stern and the Coast-to-Coast cafe that offers a wide selection of food options.
