There's a little bit more story after Chapter 7, a denouement in everyone says goodbye, namely a reformed Squares who hopes to see his newfound friends sometime. Apparently, as Squares's frustration and rage brought the worlds together, Squares being at peace will cause them to separate once again, with the memories lost. Maybe? Not really too sure how it all works.
And like in Puyo Puyo Tetris 1, there are no credits whatsoever for the English-language cast, but the Japanese cast gets one. Is this even legal? It has to be, considering this isn't exactly a small indie-level game that would slip under the radar. Certainly, it doesn't feel fair...
In any case, we're not done with our Adventure coverage yet, and not just because the 4-Star Challenge for Chapter 7 will follow. There is a postgame chapter, Chapter EX, which I'll get into later. Rather, our Tetris videos will switch on over (no pun intended) to March 2021's Tetris 99 Maximus Cup, focused on Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.
