Описание: Keoladeo National Park or Keoladeo Ghana National Park formerly known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India is a man-made and man-managed wetland.

This former duck-hunting reserve of the Maharajas is one of the major wintering areas for large numbers of birds from all over the World.

Keoladeo National Park is known as a “birds paradise”, since more than 375 bird species have been recorded in the park.

The park's location in the Gangetic Plain makes it an unrivalled breeding site for herons, storks and cormorants, and an important wintering ground for large numbers of migrant ducks. The most common waterfowl are gadwall, northern shoveler, common teal, spot-billed duck, little cormorant, great cormorant, painted stork, white spoonbill, Asian open-billed stork, black necked ibis, darter, common sandpiper, wood sandpiper, the sarus crane, with its spectacular courtship dance and many more have been recorded here.
