I've Met Miss Jones pt 12
TRI-TONICS
Imagine a 3 note scale or 3 note shape. Play it in every inversion.
If there are only 3 notes in the scale then you can play it over more chords/keys.
I love this sound and I am doing some more work on this myself but here i am finding the common chord tones that can remain over different chords and different keys.
I am implying the altered sound on the dominant and picking more interesting notes on the major chords/keys ( like the 6th etc)
What do you think? It's a great way to break you out from playing the normal scalic stuff.
