Pakistan Drone Enters Indian Territory

Описание: On Sunday 14th March, a Pakistani Drone entered into Indian territory at a place called Bamial in Punjab which is at the India-Pakistan border. Police official Gulneet Singh Khurana told the Press Trust of India (PTI) over the phone, “As soon as the Border Security Force (BSF) spotted the drone, they opened fire at it and then Drone went back inside Pakistan territory.” When asked if the drone dropped anything inside the Indian territory before flying back, Mr Khurana said, "A thorough search operation was carried out at the site, but nothing was found." This is not the first time such an incident took place. In September 2019, a drone entered Punjab’s Tarn Taran district from Pakistan. The drone then dropped AK-47 rifles, magazines and rounds of ammunition, hand grenades, fake currency and other items. These were then recovered by the police. Recently in December 2020, in Punjab’s Salach village which is 1 km away from the India-Pakistan border a box was lowered to the ground from the drone with the help of a nylon rope. When the police found the box, there were 11 hand grenades in it.
