This was the first time a scout group from Sri Lanka Scout Association was selected for the banners. Under the Indira Cancer Trust conducted by Ramani Fernando Salons, a hairdressing parlor was held for the second time on 20th January 2019 at Balangoda St Agnes Girls' School.

A number of activities were organized under the program "Scout against the cancer" on the 89th anniversary of the Balangoda Agnas College in the Boy Scale of the Boy Scout College in Balangoda, Blood Donation and Body Therapy Program. St/Agnes Balika Maha Vidyalaya is a school situated in Balangoda, Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka. The school provides primary and secondary education to girls aged 6 to 19 and has a student population of around 1,400.

It is worth appreciating the great contribution of many people for this charity mission. The enthusiasm of the Scout Girl has to be commended in order to make the hair necessary to prepare cancer patients for cancer patients. Simultaneously, a breath-filling-out campaign was held and a blood donation program was launched.

Who Does It Benefit?

Ramani Fernando Salons are working with the Cancer Care Trust to collect and sort hair, and then make wigs for cancer patients in Sri Lanka.
