The Bentayga carries into 2025 much the same as it left 2024 except that it’ll be offered with a Black Edition package this year. The Black Edition is based on the racier S trim and includes black exterior details such as black wheels, Bentley logos, and mirror caps. All will also feature one of seven accent colors that appear on the lower body panels and rear roof spoiler. The interior is dressed up in carbon-fiber trim and contrast stitching and piping for the leather upholstery.

Although it wears an SUV wardrobe, the 2025 Bentley Bentayga delivers the same ultra-luxe experience as its two- and four-door siblings. Not only is it more practical than a Continental GT or a Flying Spur but the Bentayga also happens to be the least expensive model Bentley sells. “Expensive” is still the operative word here as the Bentayga starts above $200,000, ensuring its exclusivity. Two powertrains are available, and both are smooth-running and powerful: a plug-in hybrid V-6 setup with up to 456 hp and a 542-hp twin-turbo V-8. The latter helped the Bentayga bolt to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds in our testing, and we can confirm that the S V-8 version also does an impressive job of taming serpentine roads. This is a refined rocket, though, built for quiet, luxurious cruising as much as sprinting, with a roomy, two-row cabin awash in fine-smelling leather, rich wood, jewelry-like metal trim, and a long list of standard or optional luxury features. Should you be of the chauffeured persuasion, Bentley offers a stretched model with a seven-inch longer wheelbase that adds limo-style room to the second row. The best seat is behind the wheel, though, as the Bentayga is surprisingly athletic and enjoyable on a twisty road, and the V-8 engine delivers delightful thunder along with its impressive performance.

Bentley offers several powertrains for the Bentayga. On the low end, you have a 443-hp hybrid arrangement with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 and an electric motor; Azure and S hybrids offer a slightly more powerful 456-hp version of the electrified powertrain. Then there's the 542-hp twin-turbo V-8 engine, which is the powertrain we prefer. Regardless of what's under the hood, all Bentaygas utilize an eight-speed automatic transmission and come standard with all-wheel drive. With either powertrain, acceleration feels effortless, and the Bentayga offers a placid ride. For the record, it can hustle down a curvy road better than its chief ultra-luxury SUV rival, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, if that’s the motivating factor in deciding between the two.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
Filled with rich-smelling leather, real wood trim, and glitzy metal accents, the Bentayga's cabin stays true to its luxury breeding. Buyers can opt for front and rear buckets or select a three-across second-row bench. While the rear seat doesn't feel as lavish as that of the Rolls Cullinan’s it still has plenty of space for adult passengers to stretch out in. The new long-wheelbase model offers more legroom and additional amenities, so that's the one to buy if you're planning on being chauffeured. It's still a two-row vehicle, and it can be ordered with 22-way-adjustable rear bucket seats that massage and recline up to 40 degrees. Two different mother-of-pearl-faced Breitling dash clocks are available as is a bottle cooler for rear-seat passengers, adjustable ambient interior lighting, and even a safe with a biometric lock and fingerprint reader. The Bentayga's cargo area is generous; we were able to fit nine carry-on suitcases back there. Bentley allows customers to customize just about everything inside through its Mulliner bespoke-build department—for a hefty price, of course

Infotainment and Connectivity
All Bentayga models come standard with a 10.9-inch infotainment screen with navigation and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. The optional entertainment system consists of two 10.2-inch displays mounted to the back of the front seat headrests. With it, rear-seat passengers can browse the web, interact with the Bentayga's infotainment system, or play movies. A 12-speaker stereo is standard, but you can opt for Naim's superb 20-speaker premium audio system.
