Bentley Bentayga V8 2024 review: Azure | Does the new luxury SUV outdo Range Rover and Aston Martin?

Описание: The 2024 Bentley Bentayga has arrived in Australian showrooms, with the upper-large SUV getting a model year update that ushers in a couple of new variants. The S Hybrid focuses on performance, while the Azure Hybrid goes all-in on luxury. But that's not to say that either grade is lacking in either department.

Point being, the Bentayga is moving into the electrification era with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, taken from the mechanically related Porsche Cayenne PHEV. That said, the Bentley also remains available with a thumping 4.0-litre twin-turbo petrol V8 engine that's also shared with the Porsche.

In this expert review, CarsGuide Senior Journalist Richard Berry and his family of four spend a week living with the Azure V8 to find out just how well it blends performance and luxury in everyday life. After all, competition from the likes of the Aston Martin DBX is very stiff.
