This video shows a few methods that can be used to make Contour Sanding Sleeves for use on my Slow Speed Mandrels. I demonstrate 5 methods of removing the sanding grit to get good surfaces to glue together. On this video I make 11/8" diameter x 2" long sleeves but I think about any diameter and length could be made in the same way. These methods might also work to make or repair sanding belts but I have not tested that theory. I did make a few using paper backed sandpaper and they are quite easy to make but don't last as long as the cloth backed ones do.
