After buying my new bicycle in Nairobi, today I begin my cycling adventure across Kenya — riding towards Naivasha through the famous Rift Valley. 🌍 This is the first day of real riding, and it was both challenging and unforgettable.

🌄 I started riding early in the morning to avoid traffic, but I quickly realized the bike was heavy and had off-road tires — not easy for long distances. After 20 km, I was too tired and returned to Nairobi by Uber to exchange the bicycle.

🍵 After a quick breakfast of chapati and tea, I restarted my ride. Nairobi was busy, full of working people, but once I left the city, the roads turned green and peaceful. I was heading toward Naivasha, and the scenery was stunning.

🚴 On the way, I met a fellow Kenyan cyclist who helped me ride safely through the forest areas and escorted me all the way to Naivasha. We met around the Rift Valley Viewpoint, and the views were absolutely breathtaking.

👮‍♂️ He helped me find a place to sleep — at a local police station, where I was warmly welcomed. The local people were kind and always cheering me on. In the evening, I offered my new friend chapati and tea as a thank-you.

🌽 For dinner, I had ugali for the first time — a true taste of Kenyan life!
