Описание:
Mount Adams is a large stratovolcano shaped by long-term volcanic construction, glaciation, and high-elevation climate in the Cascade Range.
Mount Adams formed through repeated lava flows rather than explosive eruptions, creating one of the largest volcanic edifices in the Cascades by volume. Extensive glaciers and snowfields carve its slopes, feeding major river systems and influencing regional hydrology. Its position east of the Cascade crest places it at a climatic boundary, where precipitation, elevation, and terrain strongly shape ecosystems and landscape development.
