We follow the Mekong River, with Lao on the opposite bank, from Chiang Khan to Nongkai, riding our 450 Himalayan.
We visit a lovely riverside café, and in Nong Khai, we dine at a pavement restaurant on the riverside promenade.
Later, we pass one of Northeastern Thailand’s most magnificent Buddhist sites, the mountain-top temple of Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew.
We end the film at a lovely little guesthouse, worthy of mention simply because it is a lovely little guesthouse that offers fantastic bang for buck.
