Here's What Mountune are Doing to My Focus RS! | PROJECT PART 8

Описание: Let's find out what's happening at Mountune with my Ford Focus RS! The overhaul works to the project car's engine are underway so we can head into the workshop to get an update, while also taking a test drive in the Mountune development car with a setup like mine is going to have when completed... this is going to be an epic thing!

The Red Edition Focus RS has now been at Mountune for a few weeks and has been totally stripped down at the front end so that all the internals of the engine can be rebuilt and strengthened. Seeing the block in place but without the cylinder head and other components gives a great perspective as to the level of work that Mountune are doing. Sitting side by side we also have the old and new conrods and pistons so you can see the differences. To take the power to the kind of levels that they are doing, in the region of 500hp, it's vital to start from a very strong base and that's exactly where this is all beginning.

After exploring my RS, it's time to jump into their RS for a little feeler as to what it's like without going into all the technicalities ahead of the full details being revealed in the not too distant future. It's now a few weeks until my car is completed, and you can be sure there will be more to come from Mountune on the channel very soon!

To head on afterwards, my Ford GT has also been delivered to Mountune in time for my arrival following a fix to the front rocker-assembly that had previously created a little rattle - no major problem and now correct.

A huge thanks to Mountune for their work so far, this is an incredibly exciting project and I cannot wait to get it into action during this spring and summer.
