Living in the mountains with the nearest town about a 30 minute drive, with a mandatory roadblock to check vehicle lisencing, and having no choice but to shop-hop just to get all the essentials, a trip for monthly groceries always takes a full day.
There are some unusual finds, like sweets you may have last seen as a child, 'muti' sold in normal shops, chicken head and feet being fried up by vendors on the side of the road. There is always something new to discover about Lesotho.
Due to limited phone space, unfortunately not all footage could be included in this clip, but this follows the basic trip to town, through town, inside some of the shops, the return trip and the transporting groceries via wheelbarrow to our place.
