30 percent of population has something called an "Open Sacral Center" in their physiology. That means likely about 30% of your team falls into this category. Yet, they may not realize it and may be trying to conform to behave like the other 70% of the population. This can result in a lot of wasted energy, wasted genius, bitterness, anger, and disappointment.

The Sacral Center is located three fingers below the belly button and is functionally connected to the Kidneys. The kidneys and sacral center pump energy throughout the body, giving the heart the energy it needs to pump blood, the lungs the energy they need to breathe, etc.
While the Kidneys are connected to the adrenals and help to calm the body, the Sacral Center is connected to the 40,000 neurons in the gut. You may think of this as your "gut instincts" or "gut knowing". It's a knowing beyond logic and thought. It's a clarity that needs no explanation. It guide correct action and provides the energy to complete that action.
Those with an Open Sacral Center will experience their energy and gut knowing differently depending on the day. They are not biased with one particular way of experiencing their energy like the 70% of the population that has a defined Sacral Center (The Builder Type). They are flexible and experience many different ways of utilizing energy. They can see when a group, team, or community is using their energy correctly or incorrectly.
There are 3 Human Design Leadership Types that have an Open Sacral: Guides (Projectors), Innovators (Manifestors), and Evaluators (Reflectors). These three types won't have the consistent energy that the Builders do. The Guides will naturally be able to help guide the energy of individuals and teams to the most effective usage. The Innovators are designed to initiate project and inform and enroll builders into the project. And Evaluators can see the bigger 28+ day trends of how teams or communities are working.
When you can empower Guides, Innovators, and Evaluators to resist the temptation to try to be builders and help them create roles where they can be in their natural genius, everybody wins.
