Описание: The Kentmere valley is a piece of heaven. It was gifted to Richard De Gilpin in 1206 as a reward for slaying the Wild Boar of Westmorland, and it remains one of Lakeland’s most beautiful spots. The valley is very quiet as not many cars can park in the Valley The river Kent begins life high in the fells that ring the valley head and flows into the Kent Mere lake in the Valley. This walk takes you above the Mere with views back to Kentmere Pike. Alexander's Crossing. so named as it was the great reveal of the announcement of a baby boy called Alexander. Enjoy this delightful valley walk
