Today’s guest is one of those women whose presence quietly stops you in your tracks.
Becky Curran is a woman who has lived through experiences that would have shattered many—and instead chose to alchemize them into purpose, voice, and service.
Born with dwarfism, Becky learned early that the world would try to define her before she ever had a chance to speak for herself. She followed the “right” path—marriage, motherhood—only to experience an unimaginable loss when her infant son passed away due to a preventable medical tragedy.
What followed was not just grief, but a profound reinvention.
Today, Becky is a speaker, advocate, and changemaker committed to telling the truth—about disability, motherhood, mental health, medical advocacy, and what it really means to reclaim agency as a woman. Her work bridges lived experience with courageous leadership, reminding us that our stories—especially the painful ones—are often the very medicine the world needs.
This is a conversation about loss, voice, identity, and radical responsibility—not as blame, but as power.
And I am deeply honored to welcome Becky Curran to the podcast.
