Finchpalm crosses the Irish Sea, the Celtic Sea and the continental shelf onto the abyssal plain of Biscay. Our weather window is lined up for our 9 day passage and the boat is as ready as she can be. What follows is an account of that passage. What we failed to capture on film is the work we both undertook when things broke... and things did break... quite a lot. We fixed every (major) issue we encountered and almost sailed the course we originally intended.
