2 days sailing a traditional wooden boat to Scotland (chased by a gale)

Описание: Leg 2 of Bessie Ellen's 120th Anniversary Round Britain Tour continues as we passage up the Irish Sea from Pembroke Dock in Wales to the Isle of Arran in Scotland, facing some pretty challenging weather on the way!

Onboard are 6 guests, owner and skipper Nikki Alford, Chief Dolphin Sniffer Bracken, and crew members Owen, Jos, and Tommy. Plus, the two of us - Kim and Del - capturing it all on camera. With just 12 of us aboard and a continuous 48 hour sea passage, guests and crew alike are part of a 6 hour on, 6 hour off watch system.

Built in Plymouth in 1904, Bessie Ellen spent much of her working life delivering cargo around the West Country and Denmark, but has operated as a charter boat for the last twenty years.

We (Kim and Del Hogg) joined Bessie Ellen for 8 months during this special year to document life aboard and create this 'Year in the Life of Bessie Ellen' series.
