LIAG scientist Raphael Rochlitz presents a new inversion tool for semi-airborne electromagnetic data, specifically designed for 2.5D and 3D controlled-source electromagnetic geometries with elongated transmitters at the surface and airborne magnetic field receivers, towed by either Drones or Helicopters. The tools are built upon the LIAG software-developments custEM and pyGIMLi. We show findings from tests with synthetic data and inversion results of real data on Drone and Helicopter survey scales.
Update: LIAG has since changed its name to ‘LIAG Institute for Applied Geophysics’ (LIAG for short). The video was made at an earlier date.
