On Monday, December 29th I woke up early to go ride a series of buses. The first one as shown here is route 122, which is a short route that runs from New York's Port Authority Bus Terminal to Secaucus along Paterson Plank Road. It is an express route primarily meant for people who live in the city to get to work. It mainly runs inbound only during the morning rush and outbound only during the evening rush. However there are three morning reverse peak trips to Secaucus, in which I rode the second (7:40AM) trip of the day. The bus was pretty much empty, only one other passenger on the bus who got off at the first stop in Secaucus where he was likely going to work. The 122 uses a mix of Wayne and Meadowlands buses.
