Frankfurt Airport is one of Europe’s true aviation giants, renowned for its parallel runways, heavy long-haul traffic, and constant flow of aircraft from across the globe. With jets arriving and departing in quick succession, you’re never far from a dramatic approach or a powerful takeoff. Some of the best places to experience the action are the viewing areas along the northern perimeter—especially around the Affenstein and Tor 25 spots—where you can relax and watch widebodies, narrowbodies, cargo heavies, and everything in between grace one of the busiest airports in the world.

This video was filmed across those popular viewing locations, as well as from several areas closer to the terminals to capture certain departures and approaches from more dynamic angles.

I filmed all of this footage myself and retain full rights to it, including all audio and visual content, recorded with the goal of showcasing the variety of aircraft, airlines, and traffic you can spot at one of Europe’s most important and iconic airports.
