New Flu Pipe for Wood Furnace

Описание: The follow up to the 8'' x 7'' Round Butt Joint Reducer Sheet Metal Hack video is highlighted in this one. The correct name for the fitting is a "Zero Clearance Reducer," as pointed out by one of my viewers. That hand made fitting is installed along with the installation of all new flu pipe on a 40 year old Canadian made Duo-Matic Olsen forced air wood fired furnace.
Its a tight space to fit in and a lot of what was recorded was blocked by my back filling the view. So it looks like we jump pretty quick from one segment to another....I recorded it, but there was just too much of a fat man's backside on the recording to suit me.
But as always there is a little (or a lot) of potification on a variety of subjects, from sheet metal to the operation of a standard atmospheric wood burning furnace's flu gasses.
To make a long story short...everything works out just fine and the video ends with a roaring fire in the firebox, smoke going UP the chimney and warm air blowing down the main duct at 600 feet per minute !!
The job was completed with the outdoor temp in the single digits and its now been there for about three, maybe four days. No matter, as its a balmy 78* F thoughout my humble abode....or hovel... by a rich man's standard. But that, my friends is another story !!! LOL.
