Fourth Canto | Daksh and dhruv story : What is yagya? The Upanishads call this Brahmajnana (knowledge of Brahman), the Puranas call it Ishwarabodha (knowledge of God), and the scriptures acknowledge the presence of this truth in every substance. However, this knowledge is also attained only through the grace of the Lord.

Suta Goswami explained that by pleasing Lord Vishnu, the greatest sufferings of living beings are removed, and their interest in hearing about Vishnu's divine activities increases. Through devotion (Bhakti), one attains knowledge of the ultimate truth, and this knowledge is eternal liberation. Lord Vishnu is the source of all scriptures.
