The family and Woodstock loaded up and headed back to Hatfield-McCoy Trails to hit Ivy Branch Trail System — focusing on taking Trail 10 to the top of map trail system.
After the snow and ice we got, the trails were an absolute soupy mess. Trees were down everywhere, mud was deep, and we definitely didn’t make it as far as we planned… but we got out of the house and had a blast doing it.
Sometimes it’s not about how far you go — it’s about getting the family together and sending it anyway.
