Fort Walton Beach can be found between Destin and Navarre Beach and is known for its white-powdery beaches and emerald waters. Temperatures range from the 20s and 30s in the winter to over 90 degrees in the summer; yet many people call it home, while thousands of others visit on a daily basis. Being a coastal community a lot of activities center around the water, however, there are other activities and they range from shopping to simply absorbing the sun's rays on the beach. Lodging comes in many forms and visitors have their pick from condos to resorts. Dining consists of everything from Mexican to fresh Gulf seafood.

Whether you are moving to Fort Walton Beach or are just wanting to shell the softest beaches around, shelling in Fort Walton Beach can have it's ups and down, however, the beauty is unsurpassed.
