Temperatures range from the 20s and 30s in the winter to over 90 degrees in the summer; yet many people call it home, while thousands of others visit on a daily basis. Being a coastal community a lot of activities center around the water, however, there are other activities and they range from shopping to simply absorbing the sun's rays on the beach. Lodging comes in many forms and visitors have their pick from condos to resorts. Dining consists of everything from Mexican to fresh Gulf seafood.
